The biggest differentiating factor is that Taste Society accepts homemade dishes and restaurant dishes at the same time. The people that use it most right now are those who aren't serious enough (or tech saavy enough) to make their own food blog, but they have a strewn of Facebook photo albums that document their food experiences. Or a lot of times the photos just never see the light of day because there's too much to sort through.
