The service was quick and the restaurant was quiet. It's a good place to sit and have early morning conversations. There are photos of regular customers with their pannekoeks posted all over the walls. There is a large wooden shoe with two creepy heads in it hanging above the cash register. They played a variety of music (including Star Wars music) but it was quiet enough that it didn't interfere with our dining experience. After eating, I found that the portions in relation to the prices were a little small. We ordered the half-size pannekoeks (1/2 the full price, plus $1) and were still hungry afterwards.

Yummy. I really like the Hollandaise sauce. It compliments the other flavours really well, and the spek is quite tasty.

The gouda cheese, mushrooms, and onions are good together. It could use more meat in it. This tasted better with some Hollandaise sauce mixed in (but it doesn't come with it).
